Welcome to the ACA Vancouver Intergroup page!
This site was created to strengthen the Intergroup fellowship among Metro Vancouver ACA groups. It offers a way for our groups to communicate and coordinate about matters such as meeting listings, workbook-group lists, and ACA events.

Workbook Group Lists
Periodically, one of our meetings will start a group that works through one of the following books. Although you can work through them on your own, the experience of working with a group can bring deeper meaning to the words.
Twelve Steps Workbook
This workbook contains readings and exercises that take you through the 12 Steps one by one. It is usually suggested as the first workbook, to be completed with a sponsor or small group.
Laundry Lists Workbook
Many ACA members recognize that there are difficult personal traits that they would like to examine. This book guides you through integrating these traits, rather than trying to avoid or discard them.
Loving Parent Guidebook
Some ACA members think of themselves as composed of different parts, including an inner child, teen, critical parent, and loving parent. This book guides you through learning to access your loving inner parent and put them in charge.

“In areas where many ACA meetings exist, an Intergroup is generally formed to provide a forum for conducting ACA business within a given geographical area.
The individual groups continue to conduct their own group business; however, the groups can select a meeting representative to represent the group at an Intergroup meeting.
The Intergroup, therefore, is composed of members from the various ACA groups. The Intergroup helps coordinate helpline functions, public information efforts, hospitals and institutions meetings, and ACA events in a given area.”
